Workshop

29 Jun , 2009

ws

I have got plenty of work done today, I’m a early bird. Been in the office since 6am every morning the last two weeks. And it’s starting to pay off, the “what to do list” is not that long anymore, NEAT!

Soon it’s time for another introduction, new members. We got a pretty cool program that includes Keiser Functional Trainer, Flowin and HOIST Roc IT machines. Versatile training that is.

Tomorrow I will recive some new stuff to the gym, I will start up a group training concept that I would like to call “Sports Conditioning” It includes tossing balls against a vertical trampoline, while standing on a balance board. Further it includes Powerbags standing on balance boards, rope ladder with different types of steps, some TRX, nylon cords bosu etc, you name it! Functional it is!

Gotto go dudes!

Power Pushups part 2

Syndicate

16 Jun , 2009

A little update with pics from the weekend. I imagen that it could be quite interesting to see what actually can happend in 30weeks, with a guy who decides to turn his life in another direction. Not only is the physical attribute interesting to see the changes in, the mindset are what It’s all about. To turn peoples bad habits around is the most difficult task you can ever set yourself up to. We will continue our work togheter, so stay tuned for updates!

First of all we have the skin issue, to loose 34kgs in 30weeks will certainly go faster than the skin to purse. This we can clearly see in the pics, there are so much skin around the stomach and lower back, I think we have to give it 6-12months to make it purse. Also we have to work on the weak points, which I think is the pectoralis region and legs. This will have to be treated with a special kind of training principle. Besides musclemass, core and reaction time has to be better. Peter is a great fan of Intermittent fasting, and as I said before not many clients dislikes it.

So lets see a pic before we started our work togheter:

And that also goes with average gym people, to change their perspective of the training. Is musclemass the only thing to strive for? What about setting a long term goal instead, cause really - cosmetics is just a funny thing. Nor is it functional, nor is it the most important thing. I met so many people who been around gyms for several years, what you should see in a person like this is a healthy functional body. But often I see people with injurys, aching joints and weak core, but a big sets of arms. Now tell me, is this what you were seeking?

As a matter of fact, you can have both big arms and a functional healthy body. It’s all about a smart plan with training and nutrition.

Take a look at this, this is my main physical qualitys I’m seeking in my clients:

Core -  Strenght - Power - Agility - Balance - Reaction - Cardio

You can make it happend, and belive me, to have all of those qualitys really improve your life in many ways. As every human beeing could be considered an athlete. We all compete in the game of life.

This car took us from Alingsås to Ystad on Saturday in an excessive manner.

Nutritionwise, I broke the fasting phase after the competition at 16, with Zero Impact bar, 2 of thoose then when I arrived home Johanna made me a calorie tight pizza with cottage cheese. Tired as hell. The sound in Honda S2000 convertible is not the best, so I appriciated some noiselessly time :)

Say When

14 Jun , 2009

So weekend is turning to end. I had a good one. Friday was a long boring drive to Allingsås, which is located about 4hours carride from my hometown. Raining cats & dogs from start to finish, we took in at a little hotel me and my client. It was bohemian, but so was also the price. So definitly no hard feelings. In Allingsås there was this beginners competition called Ahlströmmerstrofén. A very very good one, no coulors allowed which is nice, we who has a background in Fitness knows all the work with the correct method for a great tan. And it was arranged by some guys who really have interest in this kind of business, well done!

My client placed last in his class, bodybuilding. But this was what we all calculated, this competition wasn’t meant to be a time to get a placing, no no. This competition was all about motivation, to take him through his struggle to loose 34kgs in 30weeks, that was it. He made it, and I couldn’t been happier. We talked alot during our drive, I found out that he has got a new sight on life, health and alot of other stuff that comes with this mindset i try to deliver. A good plan and as he said a good Personal Trainer. Well dude, that feels good in my heart, I have to admit.

At the competition I also met some other guys, positive people who I like. They told me they loved my work and again, my heart is warm, after evey stressfull period in life nothing can compare to this. Now I’m on the right road again, positive, balanced, spiritual on top and with faith on my side. Thank you lord, I needed this. I know why I fight, to make things happend. And things will happend.

vag2

Well, on the right road again. No crossroads in my mind. I’m determined.

“Later on if it turns to chaos to me

Hurrican coming all around me

I see the crack, pull it back

Stay low, Lord please give me this”

Ok, so here is an remarkable client.

I think I have written about him before. Well let’s see, how much fat can you actually lose in 30weeks? And how much muscle can you gain? Here’s my answear, I client who has done an excellent job. We made our homework so to speak.

His diet has been Intermittent Fasting for about 75% of the time, we also done some ketogenic diet and termogenic diet. We had 2 weeks of breaks in 30weeks, 2 weeks were we put him on a energybalance and plenty of starchy carbs.

Training has been strenght of course, core without weights, TRX and plenty of cardio.

Strenght about 3 times a week, we have been on many of my programs, mixing things up every 4th week.

Remarkable strenght gains, well it’s allways seen in clients who come from a sedentary background, this guy has been training with me for 30weeks, about 40hours of Personal training. But the thing is, we haven’t only been putting effort in cosmetics (like musclemass) we have put alot of effort in his balance game, his core, reaction time and his posture. I think this guy has been almost all over my register, and the results are better than I ever thought was possible. Cardio is on top, balance is on top and core is ridiciouls good.

So now, the final two days before his competition which was set to maintain his character. This is mostly for fun, and it was my clients call, he really needed that kind of motivation to take himself through this 30 weeks.

I’m happy and it couldn’t been a better late night at work!

Love

9 Jun , 2009

So been awhile since I’ve been able to update, the days are still - hectic. To say the least. But I don’t complain, I have been seeking this experience since young days in my life. There are so many opportunity’s that I will be able to take advantage of. And I’ve made alot of them myself. But not all of them, MUCH LOVE goes out to all the people who has helped me in my struggle. All the people involved in the weekends FitnessFive, love ya all, thanks one day I will make it up to you, when time is on my side again.

The new gym is born, and we start to take the approach functional training real, REAL serious. People who visit us are often impressed and not only that is cool. To open peoples mind to training is another aspect that drives me. Not only are we on top of the nutrition game, also the game of training - functional training that is.

This is a glance at our TRX room:

trx

Many people will visit this “Battlefield”. Battle agains your body. Here we will make your body your machine (TRX quote). Sessions will start 1th of July, welcome!

I’ve just managed to reach another order with a good distrubutor. Wow, I say Wow. You should see what kinda tools we will have. And that is after you experienced our Keiser, Roc-It Hois and TRXs.

I forgot to mention one thing. The Jacobs Ladder.

Fitness Magazine was here yesterday and made an article about it:

fmtjaco

She was stunned by this tool. And everyone who has experienced this one will be. Stunned that is. What a great piece of equipment that is. Glutes and legs, minimal impact on back and joints.

Enough braging!

How about myself, well not much to brag about. After the “Storm” (Stockholm, New York, Fitness Five, Rebuilding my gym in 3weeks) I had to let the pressure go from my shoulders. Sunday was a lazy day, and sometimes we all are in that position, we don’t have the energy to do anything. With that beeing said, on those ocations I try to rebuild my confidence and think positive, after all finincally I have to make this work. And I will, if it’s the last thing I will make work in my life.

People! Don’t forget this:

Sorround yourself with positive, good people

Immerse yourself in a positive enviroment

Take away the negative energy of your life

Be Open Minded

Define your goal

- ACTION -

Time for antoher client!

Gotto go.

Again, everyone who has been on my side the last weeks, Love ya and couldn’t done it without you.

Sum

5 Jun , 2009

us1

So to sum up the trip:

New York is as always busy as hell, I couldn’t even make the cardioworkout in the morning. The streets around times squares was so busy! I had a couple of good session though, with TRX and in some gyms.

A heineken on saturday night was well deserved.

I did meet alot of interesting people, and had plenty of time to chat with Marc Coronel and Denise (TRX), building those networks is a wonderful job, especially when it comes down to people like them. Food was ok, shopping was ok. I didn’t really spend that much of money since I brought plenty of Zero Imoact bars (lifesavers).

Last day I had black momoent. My passport and my flight tickets was stolen from me. Funky feeling…

I had to visit the Swedish embassy and get a temporary one, I was lucky to be able to get home. Well money can solve almost everything, but not moments like this. I was so lucky to make it in time to the embassy, they close at 12.00 and I arrived 11. Sometimes you get back some luck, maybe to even up the bad luck?

Anyway, I’m busy as hell dudes.

Better go back to business.
