This guy represent my largest expanding group of clients, since finances are stabile (due to all the business cycles during the years) for most of this people. The media hype about health in general seems to attract older people to start use their money wise – not materialistic - but to invest in a longer and a more vital life. And this is good for everyone, for me (and the health business in general) and for all those clients who compete in the “game of life“. (well – we all do!)
This client have some pretty ordinary problems concering health, lower back problems and neck problems which can be related to the seated occupation he had. We started out as allways with a “core test” that I have developed in the Keiser Functional Trainer, as I’ve written before this machine is magic for personal trainers to work with. I can meassure his strenghts and wekness with simple parameters by the machine. We could also check for uneven relationsships in the muscles of the back etc. The test also includes flexibility movements.
After the test I created a program which core was to focus on the uneven and weak areas. And of course one part of the training concerns the cardiovascular health.
Nutritionwise we have added some EAA supplements to his diet. EAA is backed up by so much reasearch especially on elderly people, that I can’t see why they shouldn’t use it.
